Jim M. Jarvis

Jim Jarvis is the Chief Executive Officer and a founding member of Healthcare Reimbursement Solutions (HRS). Since joining Peter Jarvis and Traci Alberts in 2015, Jim has helped transform HRS into a trusted partner for hospitals and health systems nationwide, specializing in TRICARE and Direct Medical Education (DME) reimbursement. He has been instrumental in strengthening HRS’s TRICARE service lines and in launching the Volume Decrease Adjustment (VDA) and Medicare Bad Debt (MCBD) services, which have enabled providers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to recover millions in underpaid reimbursements.

Jim’s diverse background in healthcare finance, data analysis, business development, and marketing provides a strong foundation for his entrepreneurial leadership at HRS. He began his professional journey at Premier Healthcare, working alongside his father, Peter Jarvis, to compile data and support business development initiatives. He later advanced his skills in reimbursement data analysis, accounting, and business development at Healthcare Payment Specialists (HPS), gaining hands-on experience that continues to inform his leadership today.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Chapman University and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, home improvement projects, landscaping, painting, gaming, and walking his two dogs in the Pacific Northwest.
